斯坦福大学政治学系教授 Anna Grzymala-Busse 长期研究后共产主义政治。在 Anna 的第一部著作 Redeeming the Communist Past * 中，她研究了 1989 年波兰、匈牙利和捷克斯洛伐克等中东欧共产主义政权倒台后，其中几个共产党的成功转型。她的第二部著作 Rebuilding Leviathan ** 研究了这些后共产主义国家在过渡时期的国家私有化与腐败。
